ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST (KABC) -- A hiker found himself in a scary situation when he came face-to-face with a large bear that charged at him.
The wild encounter caught on camera in the Angeles National Forest on April 15.
The video shows the hiker jumping and jingling bells as he faced the bear on the Mount Wilson Trail.
Another nearby hiker captured the video and said that the man was trying to scare the bear away.
He said he then hid behind bushes to let the bear pass so he could continue hiking.
Fortunately, no one was hurt.
