LINCOLN HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Dozens of large weapons were seized from a home in Lincoln Heights on Tuesday morning as Los Angeles police served a search warrant.

"I thought it was an ICE raid, you know," said neighbor Javier Valdez.

It turned out to be a raid by LAPD on a house in the 3400 block of Manitou Avenue.

Officers arrived around 4:15 a.m. to serve a search warrant. Video from the Citizen App shows the weapons being laid out in the garage.

In video obtained by Eyewitness News, several rifles, handguns, what appeared to be ammunition, tools and boxes of other items were seen being removed from the home. The items were carried out by officers following the early morning search.

LAPD is only saying that their gang and narcotics division served a search warrant at the location early Tuesday morning.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) says it assisted in the raid, emphasizing that LAPD had the lead in the investigation.

Eyewitness News spotted a man going in and out of the house after police left. He didn't want to talk about what happened.

Off camera, some neighbors said the police activity woke them up. At first, one neighbor at the apartment complex across the alley said he also thought ICE had come into the neighborhood, and that scared him.

Valdez said he's seen one of the residents in the house from time to time.

"He's a quiet guy. He doesn't interact with the neighbors. He comes home, leaves. Not even say 'Hi' to anyone. But he looks like a quiet person," Valdez said.

Per LAPD, evidence was gathered and taken from the residence, but no one was arrested.
