Why Lady Gaga Didn't Bring Her Fiance to the Oscars

Just days ago, Lady Gaga announced that she was engaged to her longtime boyfriend, actor Taylor Kinney.

But she went solo to the Oscars.

"He has work in the morning," the singer told "Good Morning America" today. "Hi honey! He's at home watching me on TV."

The singer, 28, announced her engagement last week, posting a picture to Instagram with the caption: "He gave me his heart on Valentine's Day, and I said YES!"

"He is wonderful," she gushed at the Oscars. "I've just been rehearsing for this and for this moment and he's been wonderfully supportive."
