Will Forte and D'Arcy Carden face blackmail, crime and crocodiles in 'Sunny Nights' trailer

LOS ANGELES -- What could go wrong in a motel surrounded by crime, crocodiles and blackmail?

The new trailer for "Sunny Nights" answers that question. Starring Will Forte and D'Arcy Carden as siblings Martin and Vicki, the series follows the duo as they launch a spray tan business called "Tansform" while staying at the Sunny Nights motel.

Martin, a natural rule-follower, travels across the world to win back his estranged wife, Joyce. However, his plan for a fresh start pivots when he realizes building a business in the Sydney beauty industry involves more than just a golden tan.

The trailer transitions from Australian coastlines to high-stakes danger, featuring guns, blackmail and a body being fed to crocodiles.

"If you make it here in tanning, you can make it anywhere," Carden's Vicki declares.

The plot thickens as the duo takes out a loan to cover a gangster's blackmail threat. As pressure mounts, Vicki pushes her brother: "You can either let them take what is yours or show him who's boss."

The trailer captures their downward spiral into the criminal underworld, with scenes showing Martin and Vicki being held at gunpoint before they eventually turn the weapons on others. The footage also shows Martin being tortured and doused in mystery liquids.

In the final seconds of the trailer, Martin reflects on what they have been through and says, "I destroyed my life," only for Vicki to reply, "Maybe your life needed destroying."

U.S. fans can find out if a spray tan business can survive the criminal underworld when "Sunny Nights" premieres March 11 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
