Dodgers back in LA after World Series Game 2 win

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- After two dramatic games in Toronto, the Dodgers are back in Los Angeles!

Eyewitness News captured exclusive video of the team's buses arriving at Dodger Stadium early Sunday morning.

The Dodgers and Blue Jays might be feeling a bit jet-lagged. Both teams opted to fly to L.A. after Saturday night's game. Game 2 ended around 7:45 p.m. our time, which was 10:45 p.m. in Toronto.

The Dodgers landed at LAX around 3 a.m., but the players didn't park at the airport, so they had to take a bus back to Dodger Stadium to collect their cars.

Eyewitness News saw many players leaving the stadium around 5:30 a.m. Sunday. Despite it being an "off day," the boys in blue were back at Dodger Stadium for practice on Sunday night.

The Dodgers beat the Toronto Blue Jays 5-1 on Saturday night to tie their best-of-seven World Series at one game apiece.

It was a big night for Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who pitched a four-hitter for his second consecutive complete game, the first in the World Series since 2015.

Monday marks a big first for Tyler Glasnow. It will be his first appearance in the Fall Classic as a Dodger.

Glasnow did make a pair of starts for Tampa in 2020, losing both.

This year, he's pitched 13 innings in the playoffs and has only given up one run.

Toronto will counter with Max Scherzer, who pitched 11 games for the Dodgers in 2021

The Series resumes Monday night with Game 3 at Dodger Stadium.
