Rick Ross arrested in North Carolina for failing to appear in court

GREENSBORO, N.C. (KABC) -- Rapper Rick Ross was arrested Friday night after failing to appear at a hearing related to a previous misdemeanor marijuana charge.

He was taken into custody after performing at Greensboro's SuperJam Music Festival and released Saturday on $1,000 bail.

His label, Universal Music Group, has not commented on the arrest.
