'Shark Tank' holds auditions at Morongo
The ABC show "Shark Tank" held open auditions at the Morongo casino for hundreds of hopeful entrepreneurs looking to pitch their products on TV.

CABAZON, Calif. (KABC) -- Hundreds of would-be entrepreneurs lined up at the Morongo Casino for their one-minute shot to get on the show "Shark Tank."

The ABC show features product inventors and aspiring entrepreneurs pitching business ideas to obtain funding from established business tycoons like Mark Cuban and Barbara Corcoran.

At least 600 people lined up at the casino ballroom to pitch show producers on products like reusable steel twisty straws, hair care for teens and glasses that help athletes focus.

Last year, five businesses that first pitched at Morongo ended up on the show.
