2.6 magnitude earthquake rattles Silver Lake area, USGS says

SILVER LAKE, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A magnitude 2.6 earthquake rattled the Silver Lake area Monday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The small quake hit shortly before 9 a.m. at a depth of nearly 7 miles.

No injuries or damage was reported.
