GLENDALE, Calif. (KABC) -- There's an investigation into mail dumping in Glendale that was all caught on camera.

Surveillance cameras caught the bags being tossed from a Budget truck in a parking lot near 7Q Spa on Glenoaks Boulevard.

The USPS said it's common practice for mailboxes outside post offices to be locked on days they are closed to prevent vandalism.

The spa's owner found hundreds of unopened envelopes and packages last week.

USPS says the truck driver was a contractor, not an employee.

Investigators are still looking into the incident, but say the mail will eventually be delivered.
