Suspect hospitalized following officer-involved shooting in South Los Angeles

SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A suspect was transported to a local hospital following an officer-involved shooting in the 600 block of West 43rd Place in South Los Angeles Monday afternoon.

LAPD 77th Division officers were conducting a shooting investigation when the officer-involved shooting occurred at about 2:30 p.m. No officers were hit.

No further details were immediately released.
