Legend Rosey Grier reminisces about singing on 'The Rosey Grier Show'

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Former Rams legend Rosey Grier appeared on "Rams Primetime Saturday" and sang a tune nearly 50 years after "The Rosey Grier Show" first aired on KABC-TV.

Grier played for the Los Angeles Rams defensive line, which was known as the Fearsome Foursome, in the 1960s and 1970s.

Not only was he a big football player, he starred in dozens of movie and television roles. But another one of his passions was singing, which he did during his weekly television show that he hosted on KABC-TV.

In his spare time, Grier shared his love for unusual hobbies including writing a book on needlepoint for men. He was also the bodyguard who wrestled the gun away from Robert Kennedy's assassin Sirhan Sirhan.

Grier joined Rob Fukuzaki in the studio to reminisce on his show and sing a song.

During the interview, Grier said he was excited to have the Rams back in Los Angeles and that it will bring jobs to the area.

"It's exciting to have the Rams back and I can finally say my team is back home," he said.

When discussing the Fearsome Foursome, he said they worked together with "love and support" all the time. He is the last surviving member of the group.

Thanks to the Fearsome Foursome, statistics on quarterback sacks became part of football.
