NORTHRIDGE, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A driver said a gas pump continued charging after the nozzle shut off at an Arco station in Northridge over the weekend.
According to the Eyewitness News viewer, the incident occurred at the station when the pump's meter continued to climb after fuel dispensing had stopped.
An attendant intervened and offered the customer a refund.
Los Angeles County said it immediately inspected the gas station following the complaint. Officials said the pump is now operating properly.
