Sugar Ray Leonard holding fundraiser to fight pediatric diabetes

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Boxing legend and six-time world champion is now fighting to help kids lead healthier lives.

The Sugar Ray Leonard Foundation, founded in 2009, helps raise funds and awareness in the fight against pediatric diabetes.

Wednesday night is the foundation's 8th annual Big Fighters Big Cause charity boxing night, at the Loews hotel in Santa Monica.
