A man was killed and two women were injured in a triple shooting early Saturday morning in the unincorporated Florence neighborhood, authorities said.

FLORENCE, LOS ANGELES COUNTY (KABC) -- A man was killed and two women were injured in a triple shooting early Saturday morning in the unincorporated Florence neighborhood, authorities said.

Deputies responded about 12:45 a.m. to a report of a call of a gunshot victim in the 1400 block of 77th Street, according to a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The three victims were transported to a hospital, were the unidentified man was pronounced dead, the news release said. The two injured women were treated and released.

A description of the shooter was unavailable, investigators said, adding that it was unknown if the incident was gang-related.
