WESTWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Authorities scoured the UCLA campus Wednesday morning after two people were shot and killed just before 10 a.m.
The entire campus was placed on lockdown and students were told to shelter in place. Students who did move on campus were instructed to walk with their hands up and were searched immediately by heavily armed officers.
After about two hours, Los Angeles police Chief Charlie Beck announced the incident was a homicide-suicide and there was no outstanding threat on campus.
