The new $700-million USC Village was officially opened Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017, amid fanfare and cheers from thousands of students and alumni.

UNIVERSITY PARK, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The new $700-million USC Village was officially opened Thursday amid fanfare and cheers from thousands of students and alumni.

"Jaw-dropping" is how some Trojans described the massive new facility that will house more than 2,500 students.
