5 hospitalized after Victorville stabbing incident

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (KABC) -- As many as five people were hospitalized after an altercation in Victorville on Tuesday, authorities said.

A call was received around 9:30 a.m. about stabbing victims in the area of Mojave and Del Rey drives, San Bernardino County Fire said.

At least two of the victims were stabbed and airlifted to Loma Linda Medical Center, the sheriff's department said. Three others were treated for other injuries at a nearby hospital.

A reason for the violent incident was not immediately known.
