Timelapse video shows debris basin filling to the brim near Eaton Fire burn zone

SIERRA MADRE, Calif. (KABC) -- Timelapse video shows a debris basin filling up fast in the Bailey Canyon area of Sierra Madre in the Eaton Fire burn area.

The video was taken over the span of one hour. You can see multiple surges of water and debris flowing in to that basin.

That basin doing what it was designed for - keeping that mud and debris from going any further.
