LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- They may look like just another group of Los Angeles Kings fans, but when they step into Crypto.com Arena, their presence is known.
"The Korean Grannies are here - enough said," said one fan.
The group is from the Koreatown Senior and Community Center. According to ESPN, in the span of two years, the KSCC's harmonica class went from only playing the national anthem in a classroom to performing in front of 18,000 fans on heritage night.
"It's one of the more electric moments I've had since working here for the last four years when everybody starts singing," said Adam Cribbs with the Kings Foundation.
In the two other games in which the group performed, the Kings won. So of course, the "harmonica queens" returned, filling the stadium with joy.
The Kings organization created a special donation page, encouraging fans to support the KSCC.
"Hundreds of Seniors rely on this center for meaningful community, connection, and purpose," read the description. "Your donation helps keep these vital programs going-and the music playing.
Let's make sure the music-and the impact-never stops."
