Celebrating LGBTQ+ storytelling: OutfestNEXT 2026 returns to LA

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- OutfestNEXT is back in Los Angeles.

The four-day event is bringing LGBTQ+ filmmakers and storytellers together with screenings, workshops and conversations at the LA LGBT Center's Village at Ed Gould Plaza from July 23-26.

Headlining the festival is Outfest Achievement Award honoree Gregg Araki's latest feature, "I Want Your Sex," starring Olivia Wilde, Cooper Hoffman, Chase Sui Wonders, Margaret Cho, and Charli XCX.

There will also be 18 other features and over 30 short films.
