Thousands take part in Susan G Komen Race for the Cure to fight breast cancer in OC

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. -- Thousands of people in pink gathered in Newport Beach for the 27th Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

People ran or walked the 5K course Sunday morning in support of survivors and in the memory of those who died from breast cancer.

Hundreds of survivors held pink roses and were honored during a special tribute at the walk.
