THE VOID is giving fans the chance to star in their own Star Wars adventure with a brand new hyper-reality experience.

ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) -- There's a new way to connect with the Star Wars universe through the magic of virtual reality, making the experience as real as it gets.

Putting fans inside the story like never before, THE VOID is giving fans the chance to star in their own Star Wars adventure with a brand new hyper-reality experience.

"It's not just that you're watching the story," THE VOID founder Curtis Hickman said. "You're a part of it."

Participants will find themselves inside the adventure, moving through ships and space while battling Storm Troopers.

"If there's a fire or some wind, you're going to feel those things," Hickman said. "You're going to feel the environment behind you."

With a high-tech vest and a virtual reality helmet, fans will enter the the set of Secrets of the Empire to fight a heart-pounding battle with the bad guys for the price of $29.95.

"You really feel like you're in Star Wars or you're running around on a mission," Diana Williams of Lucasfilm said. "You just feel like you're a part of the Star Wars universe."

People can only blast off to this universe from three spots on Earth -- Disney World in Orlando, the Westfield Mall in London starting Dec. 16 and Downtown Disney in Anaheim starting on Jan. 5.
