Fire erupts at Stone Ridge Academy in Covina

COVINA, Calif. (KABC) -- Los Angeles County firefighters were battling a blaze at Stone Ridge Academy in Covina Sunday afternoon.

The fire erupted outside the school located at 1115 East Puente Street at about 3:46 p.m. and spread to two outdoor portable units before being knocked down.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
