SAWTELLE, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Police are searching for the driver of an RV who smashed into at least six parked cars in the Sawtelle area of West Los Angeles earlier this month and then fled the scene.

Witnesses shot cellphone video of the incident which occurred near the intersection of Rochester and Butler avenues on Nov. 1

The RV driver fled the scene after backing into the parked cars. He allegedly hit even more cars as he sped away down the street, police said.

The owners of the damaged vehicles are furious and frustrated.

"I've had this car since I was a sophomore in high school. I made it the whole way through college. It came across the country with me, and I got here and a month later it gets hit while sitting there doing nothing," Carly Cerquone said.

Anyone with information on this case was asked to contact the L.A. Police Department's West L.A. Station at (310) 444-0701.
