He wants to be the worlds youngest sailor to sail around the globe.
Zac plans on breaking the record in his 36 foot sailboat - which he bought himself earlier this year.
Before he set off, zac told us its not unpredictable weather that worries him: If all goes according to his plan, Zac will be docking back in Los Angeles in April 2009.
