Mushrooms recalled for contamination

A recall has been issued for a type of mushroom that could be contaminated with the bacteria Listeria.The recall involves packages of Enoki mushrooms distributed by Phillips Mushroom Farms in Pennsylvania.

The long and thin mushrooms were sold from Jan. 13 to Jan. 30 and distributed in 3.5 ounce packages.

Preliminary tests show potential Listeria contamination, which can cause flu-like symptoms including fever and muscle aches.

There have been no reports of any illnesses.

Consumers are advised to return the mushrooms to the place of purchase for a full refund.
