PEBBLE BEACH, Calif --
A $1 million reward is being offered for the return of valuable, high-profile artwork that was reported stolen from a rental home in Pebble Beach.Authorities said Tuesday the renters believe the 13 pieces were taken by professional art thieves on Friday.
The missing artwork includes pieces by Vincent Van Gogh, Henri Matisse, Rembrandt, Miro, Renoir and Jackson Pollock.
The artwork was not insured.
Earlier this month, a private collection of eleven original Andy Warhol paintings were stolen from a multi-million dollar mansion in Beverly Glen.
The artwork by the famed pop art pioneer is considered to be a one of a kind collection. It belongs to businessman Richard Weisman.
