Deputies arrived and located a man down in a front yard.
The shooting victim was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim is identified as Christopher Todd Johnson, 26, of Highland.
Investigators determined Johnson had just left a party on the 7900 block of Primrose just prior to being shot.
Using information provided by the public, investigators obtained search warrants for a residences in the city of San Bernardino.
Damon Lavon Johnson, 20, was arrested at one location.
The suspect and the victim are not related.
A female juvenile was also arrested, charged with possession of drugs, and possession of a stolen firearm. Damon Lavon Johnson, is now charged with murder.
