SIMI VALLEY, Calif. --
Officials at Apollo High School in Simi Valley are hoping that a rash of tagging incidents is finally over.A juvenile student at the school has been taken into custody. His name was not released because of his age. Investigators believe he's responsible for at least 16 incidents of graffiti vandalism. The total damage is estimated at $2,758.
The student was cited, and released to his mother. The arrest is the latest in a Simi Valley crackdown on graffiti vandals. Three other taggers were arrested earlier this month.
