Men beat up Whittier resident, steal Xbox

Police said four people broke into a house in Whittier and beat a man before taking some cash and an Xbox on Sunday. Authorities said the incident was in the 12600 block of Cullen Street at about 11 a.m.

Police arrested 32-year-old Matthew Giron of Pico Rivera in connection with the home invasion after the victim recognized him as one of the attackers. Three other suspects are still on the loose.

According to the Whittier Daily News, there were two other men in their 20s who were in the home at the time of the robbery, but they were not injured.
