A single-engine plane crashed and caught fire at Chino Airport, leaving one of two people inside seriously injured.Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor said the pilot crashed while practicing takeoff and landings at around 12:40 p.m.

One person inside the 1978 Monney M20J aircraft was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The other occupant in the plane was not hurt.
