Reality star "Snooki" got paid more than some people make in a year to give her advice to college students in New Jersey.

The Rutgers University Programming Association paid Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi $32,000 to talk about her lifestyle.

The "Jersey Shore" star received $2,000 more than what Nobel-winning novelist Toni Morrison will be paid to deliver the commencement address in May.

Money for Snooki's appearance came from the mandatory student activity fee.
