During a quick stop in Chicago, the first-grader handed the president a letter she had written to him.
Obama read part of the letter out loud, and asked the girl, "You're the only Democrat in your house?" The girl nodded.
In the letter, the girl writes, "But my parents always support the USA."
The president praised the girl for her good grades. Obama signed the envelope for the young girl to keep, but he held onto the letter.
