Queen hosts Middleton's parents for lunch

LONDON

It's believed to be the first time the monarch met Michael and Carol Middleton.

Buckingham Palace said the lunch was also attended by the queen's husband Prince Philip and a few members of the queen's royal household.

The bride-to-be went shopping at a London boutique for her honeymoon.

As the royal wedding fever is sweeping Britain, bookies are getting into the action.

London bookies have been taking bets on everything from Kate's arrival at the abbey to the color of her wedding dress. As to whether the couple will live happily ever after, the odds were heavily in favor of Prince William and Kate still being together on their 10-year anniversary.

ABBA's "Dancing Queen" is the bookies' favorite tune to be the first dance.

ABC7 anchors David Ono and Michelle Tuzee are traveling to London for the royal wedding. Look for their live reports beginning next week on Eyewitness News.
