Lopez has been ordered to stop building a pool cabana at his multimillion-dollar home on Kempton Road.
The city said Lopez, a former contestant on ABC's "/*Dancing With The Stars*/," violated zoning codes when his contractor started building the addition to the cabana without getting permits first.
The house is listed under Glendale's historic registry.
Lopez has yet to comment. He has until June 27 to get the permits.
