It was an outside fire that got into the attic of the home on the 1300 block of North Belfast Drive.
Firefighters thought all the flames were extinguished, but when they went inside the home to make sure there were no hot spots, they found flames in the attic and a partial roof and ceiling collapse.
Two women who lived in the home were not injured.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
