Police received a report of a male victim suffering a gunshot wound at University and Kansas avenues at about 10:20 p.m. on Jan. 26.
The man was hospitalized, but died from his wounds. He was identified as Riverside resident Gregory Ball Jr., 37. Police believe he may have been shot at a different location, then stumbled to the intersection.
