A body found floating near the Coronado Islands over the weekend has been positively identified as the skipper of a yacht that crashed last month.

All four people on board died in the accident off the Baja coast. The body of 49-year-old skipper Theo Mavromatis of Redondo Beach was the last to be recovered. He died from blunt-force injuries, officials said.

Investigators believe the yacht, which was taking part in a Newport to Ensenada race, either collided with another vessel or hit some rocks.
