Metro Green Line service temporarily disrupted due to power issue

LOS ANGELES

The problem started around 7:30 p.m. Thursday. It was fixed by 4:15 a.m. Friday, hours earlier than expected. Metro was running a bus shuttle between the stations.

The suspension affected the Vermont/Athens and Harbor Freeway stations because they are between the Crenshaw and Avalon stations.

Officials urged passengers using the bus service to allow additional travel time.
