Robert Bernard couldn't believe his eyes when he spotted a $1,500 diamond accent cable necklace on sale for just $47 in Macy's current catalog.
He immediately went to a local store to take advantage of the deal for an upcoming anniversary, but the person in front of him bought the last necklace in stock.
Bernard placed an order for two necklaces to be shipped to his home.
Macy's discovered the pricing error soon after, cancelled Bernard's order and left him the bad news on a voicemail.
Bernard is outraged he missed out on the deal. He says Macy's never offered him anything in exchange for its error.
