405 North crash, fuel spill snarls traffic

LOS ANGELES

The crash involving a tanker truck and a sedan was reported at about 5:45 a.m. just south of Montana Avenue. Authorities say the collision resulted in a spill of about 700 gallons of diesel fuel, triggering a multi-lane closure.

The sedan reportedly flipped over during the crash. There was no word on if anyone was injured.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. All lanes reopened at about 9 a.m.
