Authorities say the shooting happened at Super Pho & Teriyaki in the 10900 block of Venice Boulevard at about 9:30 p.m. A 50-year-old man was taken to a local hospital for injuries to his hand and shoulder.
While the motive remains unclear, police do not believe it was a random shooting. No one else was injured.
Investigators will be looking at surveillance video from other businesses in the area as they search for the suspect.
