NORWALK, Calif. (KABC) -- A man suspected of killing two women in San Diego County's Chula Vista was found dead of an apparent suicide in Norwalk on Friday, police say.

David Bow was found dead about 8:30 a.m. in the 12400 block of E. Imperial Highway, according to Chula Vista police.

Authorities said Bow had called 911 shortly after 3 a.m., saying he had just shot his girlfriend and her aunt.

Officers responded to the condo building in the 2700 block of Apricot Court and found two women dead of gunshot wounds on the third floor bedroom.

The victims were identified as 38 or 39-year-old Aura Manzilla and 58-year-old Patricia Garcia.

A "be on the lookout" call was placed for Bow, who was determined to be the boyfriend of Manzilla.

A text message then alerted Chula Vista police that Bow had shot himself in Norwalk.

Authorities said the weapon is stated to be a handgun, but it was unclear if it was the same weapon suspected to be used in the killings of the two women.

Bow was reported to have resided in the condo with his girlfriend and her aunt.
