DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man is recovering after a Blue Line train ran right into his car in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday.

The incident happened at about 2 p.m. in the 200 block of Washington Boulevard.

The 32-year-old man was able to get out of the car before firefighters arrived. He was treated and then taken to the hospital in fair condition.

Eyewitness News viewer "Mommy and Baby Alayna" posted a video of the aftermath.

No injuries were reported on the train.
