Assault suspect leading LAPD on slow-speed chase with shredded tire

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A suspect is leading Los Angeles police on a slow-speed chase Wednesday night while driving with a shredded tire.

AIR7 was over the pursuit as the suspect drove at slow speeds on surface streets with multiple police cruisers trailing behind.

The chase moved through the San Fernando Valley and Hollywood before continuing into the San Gabriel Valley.

Police say the suspect is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer.
