Man killed in crash on 10 Freeway in Palms area

PALMS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on the westbound 10 Freeway in the Palms area early Sunday morning.

The crash happened near Manning Avenue around 2:15 a.m. The name of the victim has not been released.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, two people were critically injured and six others suffered moderate injuries.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.

Two lanes of the freeway were temporarily shut down while authorities investigated the scene.
