PASADENA, Calif. (KABC) -- Police Sunday were asking for the public's help in locating a 71-year-old man from Pasadena, suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
Gerald Masao Sakamoto was last seen near downtown Los Angeles, Pasadena police said in a press release.
He is described as an older man of Asian descent who is 5 feet 3 inches tall, 165 pounds, with brown eyes and black with gray hair.
Sakamoto has been missing since Saturday, just a day after being released from jail, Pasadena PD said.
Authorities said the man is need of medication.
