Gardena family desperate for help finding missing woman with dementia
The family of Brenda Jackson says she was last seen leaving her home on 4th of July. They're worried because she has dementia and takes medication on a daily basis: "This is her first time doing that, and we don't know where she could've went."

GARDENA, Calif. (KABC) -- A 76-year-old woman with dementia who went missing on 4th of July in Gardena has been found, her family confirmed.

The family of Brenda Jackson said she was found Thursday morning at the Los Angeles General Medical Center. The circumstances surrounding her disappearance or the condition in which she was found are unknown.

However, her family said she was cared at the hospital.

NOTE: The video above is from July 10 when Jackson was still missing.

Jackson's family issued a desperate plea for help Wednesday when she was still missing.

They said Jackson takes medication daily and feared July 4 fireworks may have caused some disorientation.

The Gardena Police Department listed Jackson as a critical missing senior, prompting them to issue a Silver Alert.
