LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Two men have entered no contest pleas for stealing part of the car actor Paul Walker was in when he died.

Anthony Edward Janow, 26, and Jameson Brooks Witty, 18, were charged with grand theft of personal property, destroying evidence and resisting, obstructing and delaying a peace officer. Both men entered their plea on Tuesday.

Walker was killed when the Porsche Carrera GT he was in crashed, bursting into flames last November.

Janow and Witty are accused of taking a roof panel off the car when a tow truck was at a stop light in Valencia on Nov. 30.

"The theft occurred after Witty and Janow were told by a Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy they could not take any part of the vehicle," the L.A. County District Attorney's Office said in a statement.

Witty will be sentenced on Aug. 14, and Janow will be sentenced on Oct. 23. They are expected to be sentenced to about six months in jail each.
