Woman finds 8-carat diamond at Arkansas State Park

MURFREESBORO, AR -- A true diamond in the rough was discovered in Arkansas.

One lucky woman found an 8.5 carat white diamond at an Arkansas State Park. Bobbie Oskarson was searching the Crater of Diamonds State Park when she discovered the gem in a mound of dirt.

It's the fifth largest diamond found by a visitor at the park since it opened in 1972. At this time, Oskarson plans to keep the gem.
